British cuisine has always been a multicultural - a pot pourri of eclectic styles.  However Britain's culinary expertise is not new! In the past British cooking was amongst the best in the world.  Traditional British cuisine is substantial, yet simple and wholesome. 
British cuisine today has a variety that wipes off the image of grey boiled meat.   In London especially, one can not only experiment with the best of British, but the best of the world as there are many distinct ethnic cuisines to sample, Chinese, Indian, Italian and Greek restaurants are amongst the most popular.

Ingredients for Yorkshire Pudding - -SK Khazana Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 1/2 cup

  • Oil 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Eggs 6

  • Milk 1 1/2 cups

  • Grilled chicken to serve

  • Sautéed vegetables to serve

  • Brown sauce to serve

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190˚C.

Step 2

Pour oil into each cavity of a cupcake mould, place it in the hot oven for 15 minutes or till it smokes.

Step 3

Meanwhile, sieve refined flour into a large bowl. Add salt and break in the eggs and whisk till well combined.

Step 4

Add milk, little at a time, and whisk continuously till you get a lump free mixture.

Step 5

Strain the mixture into a pouring jar and pour into each cupcake cavity till ¾ full. Place it back in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.

Step 6

Place some grilled chicken and sautéed vegetables on each serving plate. Place 2-3 Yorkshire puddings on each serving plate, pour brown sauce on top of them and drizzle over the grilled chicken, sautéed vegetables. Garnish with micro greens and serve hot.
