Jackfruit Ice Cream Not everyone likes to eat ripe jackfruit by itself. But when made into a rich icecream it will be enjoyed by most. With little effort and patience, the ripened jackfruits segments can be turned into a delicious icecream. By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Mar 2024 in Recipes Desserts New Update Jackfruit Ice Cream Main ingredients Ripe jackfruit, Brown sugar, Fresh cream, White chocolate, Condensed milk, Whipped cream Cuisine Indian Course Dessert Prep time 6-8 hours Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients 1 cup chopped ripe jackfruit ⅓ cup brown sugar 1 cup fresh cream ½ cup chopped white chocolate ½ cup ripe jackfruit puree ¼ cup condensed milk 2 cups whipped cream Method Cook brown sugar in a non-stick pan till it caramelizes (approximately 1-2 minutes). Add jackfruit and mix well till all the pieces are well coated and transfer onto a greased plate. Heat fresh cream in another non-stick pan. Add white chocolate and mix till it melts. Transfer this into a large bowl. Add jackfruit puree and mix well. Add condensed milk and mix till well combined. Add 1 cup whipped cream and fold till well mixed. Add remaining whipped cream and gently fold in. Transfer the mixture into an air tight container, add the caramelized jackfruit and lightly swirl. Place the lid on and keep it in the freezer for 6-8 hours or till set.
