By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Oct 2024 in Recipes Veg New Update Main ingredients Leftover Dal, Green Peas, Carrots, Semolina Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep time 20-25 minutes Cook time 15-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of cooking Moderate Others Vegetarian Ingredients 1½ cups leftover dal ¼ cup blanched and crushed green peas ¼ cup grated carrots 1 cup semolina (suji) 2 green chillies, crushed Salt to taste 2-3 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves 2-3 tablespoons yogurt ½ teaspoon baking soda Ghee as required Coconut chutney to serve Method Take leftover dal in a bowl. Add green peas, carrots, semolina, green chillies, salt, coriander, yogurt and 1 cup water and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes. Add baking soda and mix well. Heat a paniyaram pan and drizzle ghee. Put a spoonful of batter in each dent, cover and cook for 5-6 minutes. Flip and cook for 5-6 minutes more.
