Leftover Roti Halwa

Ingredients

  • 8 leftover rotis
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon green cardamom powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cashew nuts
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios + for garnish

Method

  1. Put the rotis in a blender jar and blend to a coarse powder.
  2. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add the bended powder and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add milk, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add sugar, mix and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add almonds, cashew nuts and pistachios and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve warm garnished with pistachios.
