By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Jul 2024 in Recipes Veg New Update Main ingredients Black Raisins, Milk, Banyard Millet, Pistachios Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep time 2-2.5 hours Cook time 20-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of cooking Moderate Others Vegetarian Ingredients ½ cup ProV Premium Black Raisins + for garnish 4 cups milk ¼ cup barnyard millet (samo) ¼ cup sugar ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder Silver warq for garnish Blanched, peeled, and slivered pistachios for garnish Method Take ProV Premium Black Raisins in a bowl. Add 1 cup water, set aside to soak for 10-15 minutes. Bring milk to a boil in a deep non-stick pan. Add barnyard millet, mix and cook for 8-10 minutes while stirring in between. Meanwhile, put the soaked raisins into a blender jar and blend to a fine paste. Once the millet is cooked and the mixture thickens, add the blended paste and mix well. Add sugar, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes or till sugar melts. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Switch the heat off, transfer into individual serving earthen bowls and allow to cool.
