Sago Fruit Pudding Sago, also known as sabudana, is enjoyed in the form of either khichdi or vada or even as kheer. Here we bring you a delicious pudding where sago is cooked with vanilla custard and condensed milk and served chilled dressed with a variety of fruits. The end result is an outstanding dessert to make your day happy. By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Sep 2024 in Recipes Desserts New Update Main ingredients Sago (sabudana), Kiwi, Black grapes, Strawberries, Orange, Vanilla custard powder, Milk, Condensed milk, Fresh mint sprigs Cuisine Fusion Course Dessert Prep time 6- 8 hours Cook time 10-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of cooking Easy Others Vegetarian Ingredients ⅓ cup soaked sago Kiwi slices as required Black grape slices as required Strawberry slices as required Fresh orange segments as required 2 tablespoons vanilla custard powder 3 cups milk ⅓ cup condensed milk Fresh mint sprigs for garnish Method Take vanilla custard powder in a bowl, add ½ cup milk and mix well. Heat remaining milk in a deep non-stick pan. Once the milk comes to a boil, add sago and cook on medium heat for 6-8 minutes or till the sago is soft. Add the custard powder mixture and cook on medium heat till the mixture thickens stirring continuously. Add condensed milk and mix well. Put the mixture into individual serving mugs till ¾ full and allow to cool completely. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Arrange kiwi slices, grape slices, strawberry slices and orange segments on top.
