Strawberry And White Chocolate Mousse

An easy and delectable creamy mousse that will make anyone happy! The tartness of the fresh strawberries compliment the smooth and sweet white chocolate and make this dessert absolutely divine.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Heat fresh cream in a non-stick pan.
  2. Take white chocolate in a bowl. Add hot fresh cream and mix till the chocolate melts. Allow the mixture to cool completely. 
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream into the white chocolate mixture till well combined. Add vanilla essence and mix well.
  4. Transfer into individual small serving glasses. Refrigerate for 1 hour or till chilled. 
  5. To make compote, heat a non-stick pan, add strawberries, castor sugar, salt and ¼ cup water and mix well. Cook till strawberries turn soft and pulpy.
  6. Switch the heat off, add lemon juice and mix well. Allow to cool completely.
  7. Take the chocolate mousse out of the refrigerator, place a portion of strawberry compote on top of the mousse in each glass, garnish with edible flowers and serve chilled.
