Ingredients list for Anar Hummus

  • Chickpeas boiled and peeled 1 cup + for topping
  • Fresh Pomogranate Kernels 1/4 cup + for topping
  • 1/2 medium Beetroot boiled and peeled
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Tahini (sesame paste)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • Extra virgin olive oil 1 teaspoon + for drizzling

Method

  1. Put boiled chickpeas and pomegranate kernels in a grinder jar. Add beetroot and sesame paste and grind.
  2. Add salt, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil and grind again till smooth.
  3. Transfer into a serving bowl, drizzle olive oil, top with pomegranate kernels and serve.
