Ingredients list for Anar Raita - SK Khazana

  • 1 Small pomegranate pearls removed
  • 2 cups Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 pinch + to sprinkle Red chilli powder
  • to taste Black salt

Method

  1. Heat a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and dry roast till they turn dark and fragrant. Transfer into a mortal and crush lightly with a pestle.
  2. Take most of the pomegranate pearls in a mixing bowl, add yogurt, coriander leaves, chilli powder, black salt and most of the crushed cumin seeds. Mix well. Refrigerate till serving.
  3. Serve chilled garnished with remaining pomegranate pearls and sprinkle remaining crushed cumin seeds and chilli powder.
