Ingredients list for Apple Crisp
- 1 medium Red apple
- as required Puff pastry dough
- for dusting Refined flour (maida)
- for greasing Melted butter
- ¼ cup brown sugar/jaggery
- to sprinkle Cinnamon powder
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C.
- Halve and core the apple.
- Dust worktop with some flour, place the dough and roll out into a ½ cm thick rectangle sheet. Cut into thick strips.
- Brush each strip with some butter. Sprinkle some brown sugar and cinnamon powder on top.
- Thinly slice the apple halves horizontally.
- Place apple slices on one side of each strip, fold and roll them. Place them into individual silicon muffin moulds.
- Place the moulds on a baking tray. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve hot.
