Ingredients list for Apricot And Custard Ice Cream
- 1 cup Dried apricots soaked and seeded
- 2 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 tablespoon Custard powder
- 1/2 cup Fresh cream
- 1/3 cup Sugar
Method
- Boil the apricots, cool them and set aside. Mix custard powder with half a cup milk.
- Boil the remaining milk with sugar in a non-stick pan. Add the custard powder mixture and simmer for three to four minutes till the custard is thickens. Strain the mixture and allow it to cool.
- Add cream and apricots and mix well. Pour into shallow containers, cover and freeze till almost set.
- Remove the mixture and blend it in a blender till smooth and thick.
- Transfer into the shallow container. Cover and freeze.
- Scoop and serve.
