Ingredients for Apricot And Custard Ice Cream Recipe

  • Dried apricots soaked and seeded 1 cup

  • Milk 2 1/2 cups

  • Custard powder 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup

  • Sugar 1/3 cup


Step 1

Boil the apricots, cool them and set aside. Mix custard powder with half a cup milk.

Step 2

Boil the remaining milk with sugar in a non-stick pan. Add the custard powder mixture and simmer for three to four minutes till the custard is thickens. Strain the mixture and allow it to cool.

Step 3

Add cream and apricots and mix well. Pour into shallow containers, cover and freeze till almost set.

Step 4

Remove the mixture and blend it in a blender till smooth and thick.

Step 5

Transfer into the shallow container. Cover and freeze.

Step 6

Scoop and serve.
