Ingredients for Apricot Nectar Recipe

  • Dried apricots 6-8

  • Honey 2-3 tablespoons

  • Fresh orange juice 500 millilitres

  • Lemon juice 3 tablespoons

  • Crushed ice as required


Step 1

Put apricots and three fourths cup of water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, cover and allow to simmer on low heat for eight to ten minutes.

Step 2

. Add honey and cook for another five minutes. Remove from fire and set aside to cool.

Step 3

Put the cooked apricots, orange juice, lemon juice in a blender and blend till smooth. Strain. Pour in tall glasses and serve topped with crushed ice.
