By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fresh Basil Leaves, Almond Paste Cuisine Fusion Course Soups Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Basil Almond Soup 8-10 Fresh Basil Leaves chopped 1 cup Almond Paste 1 tablespoon Butter 1 1/2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste to taste White pepper powder to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Fresh cream Method Advertisment Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté till fragrant. Add almond paste and saute for half a minute. Add white pepper powder, salt and five cups of water. Mix well and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for two to three minutes. Add cream and basil leaves, mix well and simmer for two minutes. Serve hot with bread sticks.
