Ingredients for Bathue Ka Raita Recipe

  • Bathua bunch 1 Big

  • Yogurt 2 teaspoons

  • Yogurt 2 cups

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon


Step 1

Clean and wash bathua leaves thoroughly. Blanch them in two cups of water for two to three minutes. Drain, cool and grind coarsely. Dry roast cumin seeds and grind to a fine powder.

Step 2

Whisk yogurt with salt, pepper powder, half the roasted cumin seed powder and half the red chilli powder. Add the ground bathua and mix well.

Step 3

Transfer into a serving dish, garnish with the remaining roasted cumin seed powder and red chilli powder and serve chilled.
