By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Nov 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Beetroot puree, California walnuts Cuisine Indian Course Raitas Prep Time 1-1.30 hour Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Beetroot & Walnut Raita - SK Khazana 2 tablespoons Beetroot puree 16-20 California walnuts 1 cup Yogurt 1 teaspoon Red chili powder 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder to taste Salt 6-8 Fresh mint leaves to garnish Fresh mint sprig Method Heat sufficient water in a non-stick pan, add walnuts and blanch them. Remove from heat, drain, cool and chop roughly. Mix together yogurt, beetroot puree, walnuts, chilli powder, cumin powder and salt in a bowl. Add mint leaves, mix well and refrigerate to chill.
