Ingredients list for Bel ka Sherbet

  • 1 Stone apple (belfal) halved and seeded
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Lemon juice

Method

  1. Scoop out the flesh of the stone apple with a spoon and put into a non stick pan. Add 4 cups water and heat. Add sugar and mix well.
  2. Add lemon juice and mix and cook till sugar dissolves.Remove from heat and strain. Set aside to cool then keep in a refrigerator to chill.
  3. Pour into glasses and serve chilled. You can also soak the pulp in water for a few hours, and then strain the pulp through a sieve.
