By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Jan 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Corn kernels (makai), Olive oil Cuisine Indian Course Soups Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Bhuni Makai ka Soup - SK Khazana 2 cups Corn kernels (makai) 1 tablespoon Olive oil 1 tablespoon Butter 4-5 Garlic cloves 1 Large onion sliced 4 cups Vegetable stock to taste Salt to taste Black peppercorns crushed 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat oil and butter in a deep non-stick pan. Add garlic and onion, mix and sauté till onions turn golden brown. Add corn kernels and mix. Add vegetable stock and mix. Add salt and crushed peppercorns, mix, cover and simmer till corn kernels are tender. Blend with a hand blender till smooth, strain into another pan and heat. Add coriander leaves, salt and crushed peppercorns, mix well and simmer for 2 minutes.
