By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Main Ingredients White Bread Slices, Gram Flour Cuisine Gujarati Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Bread Pudla 8-10 White Bread Slices 1 1/2 cups Gram Flour a pinch Asafoetida to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to shallow fry Oil as required Fresh coriander leaves as required Red chilli Garlic Chutney as required Sweet tamarind chutney Method Combine gram flour, asafoetida, salt and red chilli powder in a bowl. Add sufficient water and whisk well to make a smooth batter of coating consistency. Heat oil on a non-stick tawa. Dip the bread slices, one-by-one, in the batter and place on the tawa. Sprinkle coriander leaves on top and shallow-fry till golden and crisp from both sides. Cut into triangles and serve hot with red chilli-garlic chutney and sweet tamarind chutney.
