Ingredients for Cake Pops Recipe

  • Chocolate sponge cake 100 grams

  • Vanilla sponge cake 100 grams

  • Butter 50 grams

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Icing sugar 100 grams

  • Dark chocolate chopped 50 grams

  • White chocolate chopped 50 grams

  • Lollypop 20 Stick

  • Different sprinklers as required

Method

Step 1

Put butter in a large mixing bowl, add vanilla essence and icing sugar and beat till well combined.

Step 2

Crumble chocolate sponge cake and mix with half of butter-icing sugar mixture. Mix well with your hands. Divide into 10 small portions, roll into balls, ensuring that there are no cracks on them, and place on butter paper.

Step 3

Similarly crumble vanilla sponge and add with remaining butter icing-sugar mixture, roll into 10 balls, ensuring there are no cracks on them, and place on a butter paper.

Step 4

Melt dark chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute. Whisk well. Dip the tips of the lollypop sticks, one by one, in melted chocolate and insert in the prepared balls. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.

Step 5

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave for a minute and whisk well.

Step 6

Take out the cake pops from the refrigerator and keep out for 5-10 minutes.

Step 7

Dip some of the cake pops in melted dark chocolate and others in white chocolate till they are completely coated.

Step 8

Sprinkle with different sprinklers and place in shot glasses. Serve immediately.
