By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 Aug 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Rice, Split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal) Cuisine South Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Chakli Sticks-SK Khazana 2 cups Rice 1/2 cup Split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal) 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Butter for greasi to deep fry Oil Method Dry roast rice and black gram separately. Remove from heat, cool and grind together to a fine powder. Transfer into a mixing bowl. Add chilli powder, cumin powder, salt and butter and knead well. Add ½ cup water and knead to a soft dough. Grease a chakli press with some oil and fill in the dough. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Press in chakli strips directly into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown.
