Ingredients
- 180 grams multi grain chilla mix
- 4 teaspoons oil + for drizzling
- 60 grams cheddar cheese
- 40 grams mozzarella cheese
- 6-8 basil leaves
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried red chilli flakes
- Green chutney to serve
Method
- In a large bowl, add multi grain chilla mix, 1cup water and whisk till well combined.
- For one portion, heat ½ teaspoon oil of in two small non-stick pans. Pour a portion of batter in each and spread it lightly.
- Drizzle oil in both the pans and allow the chilla to cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
- Meanwhile, grate cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese in it. Snip and add the basil leaves, dried oregano leaves and dried red chilli flakes. Mix well.
- Flip both and cook for 2-3 minutes on the other side. Take them off the heat and place them on a worktop.
- Place a portion of the prepared stuffing on one chilla and cover it with the other to make a sandwich.
- Heat another non-stick pan, drizzle a little oil in the hot pan, place the chilla sandwich on it. Cook till golden brown and crisp on both sides.
- Cut them into half and place them on a serving plate. Serve hot with green chutney.
