Ever wondered why the phrase “say cheese” is used just before a photograph is clicked? Simply because ‘cheese’ makes one smile! Not only the word but cheese as a food makes a lot of palates happy. Ingredients for Cheesy French Fries-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Parmesan cheese powder

  • Medium potatoes with skin 3-4

  • Oil to grease

  • Cornflakes 1 cup

  • Fresh parsley chopped 2 tablespo for garnish

  • Paprika 1/2 teaspoon

  • Garlic powder 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Olive oil 1/4 cup

  • Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

Step 1

Cut potatoes into wedges.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with some oil.

Step 3

Grind cornflakes to a fine powder.

Step 4

Mix together parmesan cheese powder, cornflakes powder, parsley, paprika, garlic powder and salt in a bowl.

Step 5

Drizzle olive oil on potato wedges and mix well. Coat wedges with cornflakes mixture and arrange on greased tray.

Step 6

Put tray in the preheated oven and bake till the wedges are golden brown and fully done.

Step 7

Garnish with parsley and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
