Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Cheese Bombs-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Chicken mince 1 1/2 cups

  • Mozzarella cheese cut into small cubes as required

  • Large potato boiled, peeled, mashed 1

  • Dried breadcrumbs 1/4 cup + for coating

  • Mixed dried herbs 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Eggs beaten 2

  • Oil to deep fry

  • Fresh parsley finely chopped to sprinkle

  • Tomato ketchup to serve


Step 1

Grind chicken mince to a fine paste. Transfer into a bowl.

Step 2

Add potato, breadcrumbs, mixed herbs, chilli flakes, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into equal portions, stuff each portion with a mozzarella cheese cube and shape into a ball.

Step 4

Dip each ball in beaten eggs and coat with breadcrumbs.

Step 5

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry stuffed balls till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 6

Sprinkle some parsley on top and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
