Ingredients for Chile Con Queso Recipe

  • Green chillies 4

  • Jalapeno 2

  • Oil 2 teaspoons

  • Onions chopped 2 medium

  • Garlic minced 2 cloves

  • Tomatoes chopped 3 medium

  • Mozzarella cheese grated 2 cups

  • Cheddar cheese grated 2 cups

  • Sour cream 1 cup

  • Tortilla chips as required


Step 1

Heat oil in a pan, add onions and garlic and cook till the onions are tender but not browned. Add chillies, jalapenos and tomatoes and cook.

Step 2

Mash the tomatoes with the back of a ladle. Lower the heat and add both the cheese and cook till the cheese melt.

Step 3

Stir in sour cream and mix till heated through. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
