Ingredients for Chilled Coffee Mousse Cake Recipe

  • Milk 3 cups

  • Coffee Powder 3 tablespoons

  • Chocolate sponge cake crumbled 6 inches

  • Cornflour/ corn starch 2 tablespoons

  • Gelatin 2 teaspoons

  • Sugarfree Natura 20 measure

  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup

Method

Step 1

Dissolve one tablespoon coffee powder in half cup of warm water. Set aside. Line a six inch spring form cake tin with chocolate cake crumbs. Moisten it with dissolved coffee concoction. Reserve one cup of milk.

Step 2

Put the remaining in a deep pan along with instant coffee powder and cook on medium heat. Mix cornflour with the reserved milk and add to the pan. Cook stirring continuously till the mixture thickens.

Step 3

Take the pan off the heat. Dissolve gelatine in a little hot water and add it to the pan and stir well. Stir in fifteen measures of Sugar Free Natura. Keep stirring till the mixture cools slightly. Pour the mixture into prepared spring form tin and chill in the refrigerator till well set.

Step 4

Whip fresh cream with five measures of Sugar Free Natura till stiff. Transfer into a piping bag with star nozzle. Unmould the coffee mould onto a serving dish. Pipe rosettes on the top and serve immediately.
