  • 100 grams Chocolate
  • Strawberry
  • 20-25 Strawberries
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 20-25 grams Butter
  • 1 Vanilla sponge cake
  • 4-5 tablespoons Desiccated coconut

Method

  1. Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
  2. Hull strawberries and purée them. Transfer the purée into a non-stick pan, add sugar and cook.
  3. Trim the crust of the vanilla sponge cake and cut into fingers.
  4. Transfer the strawberry sauce into a bowl. Dip the sponge fingers in strawberry sauce, ensuring that they are well coated with the sauce and arrange them on a plate.
  5. When chocolate melts, add butter and whisk well.
  6. Spread desiccated coconut on another plate, roll the strawberry fingers so that they are well coated with the coconut.
  7. Then coat them with chocolate.
  8. Cool and serve.
