Ingredients list for Chocolate Pistachio and Nougat Semifreddo
- 2 cups Dark chocolate melted
 - 60 grams Nougat crushed
 - 15-20 Pistachios roughly chopped
 - for greasing Butter
 - ¾ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
 - 4 Eggs
 - 2¼ cups Double cream
 
Method
- Grease a loaf tin with some butter and line with a cling film.
 - On a double boiler, whisk together the sugar and eggs till pale, thick and double in volume.
 - Remove the bowl, immerse the bottom of the bowl in chilled water and continue whisking till the mixture is cool. Add the chocolate and mix well.
 - Whip the cream until soft peaks are formed, add to the chocolate mixture and fold well.
 - Add the nougat and pistachios and mix well.
 - Pour the mixture in the prepared tin, smoothen the surface, cover and freeze till firm.
 - Slice and serve.
