Ingredients list for Chokha

  • 1 Large brinjal
  • 1 1/2 Medium onions
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 4-5 Green chillies
  • 2 Medium potatoes boiled and peeled
  • to taste Salt
  • 2-3 teaspoons Mustard oil

Method

  1. Roast brinjal on direct heat till the brinjal gets cooked and the skin charred.
  2. Finely chop onions, garlic and green chillies. Put potatoes in a bowl and mash with your fingers.
  3. Peel the roasted brinjal and mash along with the potatoes.
  4. Add onion, garlic, green chillies, salt and mustard oil and mix well.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve with litti.
