Ingredients for Christmas Coleslaw Recipe

  • Purple cabbage shredded 1 small

  • Green cabbage shredded 1 small

  • Walnut kernels crushed 3 teaspoons

  • Mayonnaise 1/2 cup

  • French Dressing 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • White pepper powder 1/8 teaspoon

  • Celery,chopped 2 inch stalk

  • Apple cut into thin strips 1/2 medium


Step 1

Place the cabbages and two tablespoons of crushed walnuts in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise with the French dressing, salt, white pepper powder and celery.

Step 2

Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture. Add the apple and toss gently to mix. Serve, sprinkled with the remaining crushed walnuts.
