  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Grease a tart pan with butter. Put the powdered biscuits in the tart pan and spread it evenly. Press with your palms.
  2. Take cornflour in a bowl. Add two tablespoons sugar and mix. Add condensed milk and mix. Add one cup of milk and mix. Cook this mixture in a pan over medium heat stirring continuously.
  3. Beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar till stiff. Add coconut to the custard in the pan and mix. Add half a cup of milk or more to adjust the consistency which should not be too thick.
  4. Put this mixture over the biscuit base. Cover it with the stiffly beaten egg whites.
  5. Place the tart pan in the preheated oven and bake till the egg whites are lightly browned.
  6. Sprinkle some scraped coconut over the top and serve hot or chilled.
