Ingredients 

  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and grated
  • 100 grams paneer (cottage cheese), crumbled
  • 1/2 cup hung yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds (shahi jeera)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 medium onion , grated

Method

  1. Crumble paneer and put it in a blender. Add hung yogurt, salt, mustard powder, white pepper powder, sugar, caraway seeds and blend.
  2. Add milk and blend again. Take shredded cabbage in a bowl.
  3. Add salt, lemon juice, grated carrot and mix.
  4. Squeeze out the water from the grated onion and add to the salad bowl.
  5. Add the prepared dressing and mix. Serve immediately.
