Ingredients list for Corn Patties

  • 1 cup American Corn blanched
  • 1 teaspoon Bread chopped
  • 1 Green chilli chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry mango powder (amchur)
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Cornflour/ corn starch
  • 4 slices Bread hand torn
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Bread crumbs
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Grind the sweet corns along with ginger and green chilli.
  2. In a bowl mix together corn kernels paste, ginger, green chillies, red chilli powder, chaat masala, dry mango powder, chopped fresh coriander, corn flour, bread slices and salt.
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties.Coat the patties with breadcrumbs and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry the patties till golden brown on both the sides and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
