Ingredients for Cream of Broccoli Soup-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Broccoli florets blanched 12-16

  • Spring onion greens blanched 1/2 cup

  • Nutmeg powder 1 1/2 teas to sprinkle

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon

  • Milk 1 1/2 cups

  • Salt to cook

  • Fresh cream for drizzling


Step 1

Blend together spring onion greens, broccoli florets and 1 teaspoon nutmeg power to a fine puree.

Step 2

Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add flour, mix and sauté well. Add ½ cup milk and mix till the sauce thickens.

Step 3

Add prepared puree and mix well. Add remaining milk, salt and ½ teaspoon nutmeg powder, mix well and bring to a boil.

Step 4

Drizzle some cream and sprinkle some nutmeg powder and serve hot.
