By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Prawns (medium), Lemon juice Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Crispy Indian Prawns 20-25 Prawns (medium) shelled and deveined with tails intact 1 tablespoon Lemon juice to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon Cumin powder roated 2 teaspoon Red chilli powder ½ cup Yogurt 1 Egg 2-3 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) for deep-frying Oil ½ cup Bread crumbs dried to sprinkle Chaat masala Method Take prawns in a bowl. Add lemon juice, salt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, chilli powder and yogurt in a bowl and mix well. Break egg into another bowl and beat well. Add ½ to the prawn mixture and mix. Add gram flour and mix well. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Spread bread crumbs on a plate and coat each marinated prawn with it. Deep-fry these prawns in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
