Ingredients list for Crunchy Pasta

  • 1 cup Penne pasta , boiled
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Mix together crushed peppercorns, paprika powder, chaat masala, garlic powder, onion powder and salt in a bowl.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  3. Put pasta in a sieve, add refined flour and sift over a plate. Add the pasta to the hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Sprinkle the prepared spice-mix through a sieve over the pasta, transfer them into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
