Ingredients for Cucumber and Dill Sandwich with Philadelphia Sprea Recipe

  • Cucumbers peeled and sliced 2 large

  • Fresh dill (suva) chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Cheese Philadelphia 1 cup

  • Brown bread slices 8

  • Fresh basil leaves shredded 5-6

  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

  • Extra virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon

  • Iceberg lettuce leaves shredded 4-5

  • lollo rosso lettuce leaves shredded 4-5


Step 1

Take Philadelphia cheese in a bowl. Add basil, crushed peppercorns, salt and lemon juice and mix well.

Step 2

Take cucumber slices in another bowl. Add dill, salt, crushed peppercorns and olive oil and mix well.

Step 3

Spread a portion of the cheese mixture onto 4 bread slices. Top with iceberg lettuce, lollo rosso lettuce and 8-9 cucumber slices and cover with remaining 4 bread slices.

Step 4

Discard edges, cut into rectangles and serve immediately.
