Ingredients for Donut Waffles Maple Cinnamon Glaze Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 1½ cups

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Salt ½ teaspoon

  • Granulated sugar ? cup

  • Egg 1

  • Egg yolk 1

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

  • Milk ½ cup

  • Butter for greasing

  • Maple cinnamon glaze

  • Maple syrup 4 tablespoons

  • Cinnamon powder ½ teaspoon

  • Powdered sugar ½ teaspoon

  • Milk 1-2 tablespoons


Step 1

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.

Step 2

Cream together sugar, egg, egg yolk, vanilla essence and milk in a planetary mixer jar till well combined.

Step 3

Add flour mixture and process still a stiff dough is formed.

Step 4

Heat a waffle iron, grease with some butter and place a spoonful of prepared dough on it. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Make more waffles similarly.

Step 5

To make maple cinnamon glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon powder and milk till smooth.

Step 6

Drizzle the glaze on top of the waffles and serve immediately.
