Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Double Dhamaka Chicken Chaat Recipe

  • Chicken breasts 2

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli sauce 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Yogurt 2 teaspoons

  • Oil to deep fry

  • Refined flour (maida) 4 teaspoons

  • Spring onion with greens 1

  • Green chilli 1

  • Lemon 1/2


Step 1

Cut chicken into strips and put them into a bowl. Add ginger-garlic paste, ½ tsp red chilli powder, red chilli sauce, salt and yogurt and mix. Set aside to marinate for ½ hour in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan.

Step 3

Put refined flour, salt and ½ tsp red chilli powder in a plate and mix.

Step 4

Chop spring onion with greens and green chilli finely and put into another bowl.

Step 5

Take chicken out of the refrigerator. Roll each strip in the spiced flour.

Step 6

Add a little water to the marinade in the bowl and mix well. Dip the chicken strips in this mixture and roll again in the spiced flour.

Step 7

Slide into hot oil and deep-fry till crisp and golden. Drain on absorbent paper, cut into small pieces and put into the bowl with spring onion and green chilli.

Step 8

Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon over them and mix.

Step 9

Put them in soup spoons, arrange the spoons in a serving plate and serve.
