Ingredients list for Easy Trifle

  • 1/2 Sponge cake
  • 2 1/2 cups Vanilla custard
  • 4 Pineapple slice tinned and cubed
  • 1 packet Pineapple jelly

  1. Reserve pineapple syrup from the tin. Set jelly according to instructions. Cut into cubes. Take a deep glass bowl and spread a layer of cake cubes. Sprinkle generously with pineapple syrup. Pour over vanilla custard. Spread pineapple chunks generously. Chill thoroughly. To serve, place a portion of the cake and custard in individual bowls. Top high with jelly cubes. Serve immediately.
