Egg and Cheese Sandwich These sandwiches are filled with a mixture of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and mayonnaise. This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 02 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Eggs, Boiled Eggs Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Egg and Cheese Sandwich 2 Eggs 4-5 Boiled Eggs peeled and halved 4 Cheese slices 8 Brown bread slices to taste Salt 2-3 teaspoons Milk 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise 4-5 Lollo rosso lettuce leaves to taste Crushed black peppercorns 4-5 Iceberg lettuce leaves Method Heat a non-stick pan. Break eggs into a bowl, add salt and whisk well. Add milk and whisk again. Add mayonnaise and mix well. Pour egg mixture into the hot pan and cook, stirring continuously, till the eggs are scrambled and cooked. Transfer the scrambled eggs into a bowl. Roughly chop boiled eggs in a chopper and add them to the scrambled eggs. Finely chop lollo rosso lettuce leaves and add to the same bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Place iceberg lettuce on 4 bread slices, spread egg mixture over them, top with a cheese slice and cover each sandwich with remaining bread slices. Halve all the sandwiches, arrange them on a serving plate and serve immediately.
