By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Sep 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Baking powder Cuisine Fusion Course Desserts Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Eggless Soft Centered Cake 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida) 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon Soda bicarbonate 6 tablespoons Cocoa powder 1/4 cup Dark chocolate roughly chopped 1/4 cup Butter 1/4 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar) 3/4 cup Thick yogurt 1/2 cup Milk Method Preheat oven to 180° C. Sieve together refined flour, baking powder, soda bicarbonate and cocoa powder into a bowl. Place dark chocolate and butter in another bowl and melt in a microwave for a minute. Whisk till well blended. Add castor sugar to the chocolate mixture and mix well. Fold in the flour mixture. Add yogurt and milk and mix till the mixture is smooth without any lumps. Pour the mixture into individual silicon muffin moulds, place the moulds on a baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for eight to ten minutes. Remove the cakes from the moulds and let them cool slightly. Arrange the cakes on serving plates and serve warm.
