Eggless Strawberry Mousse

Strawberry Mousse is a quick dessert that you can make when strawberries are in season and is definitely worth a try. An added bonus, this recipe is eggless, hence vegetarian friendly. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

Ingredients list for Eggless Strawberry Mousse

  • 8-10 Fresh strawberries hulled and halved
  • 8-10 Fresh strawberries hulled and chopped
  • 2 for garnish Fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup Fresh cream
  • 1 cup White chocolate chopped

Method

  1. Put the strawberries in a blender jar and blend to a puree.
  2. Heat fresh cream in a non-stick pan till it comes to a boil. Take white chocolate in a mixing bowl, add the hot cream and mix till well combined. Add the strawberry puree and mix well. Add half the chopped strawberries and mix well.
  3. Put some chopped strawberries into each stemmed glass and fill them up with the mousse mixture.
  4. Halve the strawberries vertically without hulling them, make a small slit on the bottom end and decorate the rims of the mousse glasses with them. Keep the glasses in the refrigerator for 1½ - 2 hours to set.
  5. Serve chilled.
