Ingredients list for Fig Ice Cream

  • 1/2 cup Dried Figs
  • 3 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup Milk powder
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cream

Method

  1. Heat one and a half cups of milk in a pan. Add figs and cook.
  2. Simmer when the figs are soft and the milk is completely absorbed.
  3. Remove and cool. Puree the fig mixture in a blender.
  4. Mix the fig puree with milk, condensed milk and milk powder in a large bowl and whisk well so that there are no lumps.
  5. Add the cream, mix well and pour into shallow container.
  6. Cover and freeze till it is almost set. Blend the mixture in a blender till smooth.
  7. Transfer it into the shallow container. Cover and freeze.
  8. Scoop and serve.
