Ingredients list for Fig Ice Cream
- 1/2 cup Dried Figs
- 3 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 cup Condensed milk
- 1/4 cup Milk powder
- 1/2 cup Fresh cream
Method
- Heat one and a half cups of milk in a pan. Add figs and cook.
- Simmer when the figs are soft and the milk is completely absorbed.
- Remove and cool. Puree the fig mixture in a blender.
- Mix the fig puree with milk, condensed milk and milk powder in a large bowl and whisk well so that there are no lumps.
- Add the cream, mix well and pour into shallow container.
- Cover and freeze till it is almost set. Blend the mixture in a blender till smooth.
- Transfer it into the shallow container. Cover and freeze.
- Scoop and serve.
