Indian cuisine comprises of a number of regional cuisines.  The diversity in soil type, climate, culture, ethnic group and occupations, these cuisines differ from each other mainly due to the use of locally available spices, herbs, vegetables and fruits. Indian food is also influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions. 
Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Filter Coffee Recipe - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Filter coffee powder 3 tablespoons

  • Milk 2 cups

  • Sugar 4 teaspoons

  • Dal wada to serve

Method

Step 1

Boil 3 cups water in a non-stick pan.

Step 2

Put coffee powder in the upper compartment of a traditional coffee filter, press it down with the attachment. Pour boiling water over it, cover and set aside for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

Boil milk in another non-stick sauce pan. .

Step 4

Pour coffee decoction equally in 4 traditional filter coffee glasses, add 1 tsp sugar in each glass and mix well. Fill up the glass with hot milk and serve hot with dal wada.
