Ingredients list for Fried Finger Biscuits
- 3 1/2 cups Refined Flour
- 3/4 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Soda bicarbonate
Method
- Sieve together refined flour, powdered sugar, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt into a bowl. Add butter, buttermilk and egg.
- Mix well and knead into a stiff dough, adding water if required. Roll the dough into half inch thickness and cut into two inch thin strips.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the strips till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
