Ingredients for Fruit Cocktail Recipe

  • Peach 1 medium

  • Papaya peeled 1/2 medium

  • Pineapple juice 1 cup

  • Orange juice 1 cup

  • Kiwi peeled 1

  • Castor sugar 1/2 cup

  • Ginger grated 1 teaspoon

  • Ice cubes 10-12

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

  • Orange segments 1/2 cup

  • Dark rum 2 tablespoons

  • Kiwi slices for garnishing

  • Fresh mint leaves for garnishing


Step 1

Roughly chop half peach and papaya and put them in a blender jar.

Step 2

To make syrup, heat together castor sugar and ½ cup water in a non-stick pan, add ginger and bring it to a boil.

Step 3

Add ½ cup pineapple and orange juice to the jar and blend.

Step 4

Strain the syrup into a bowl.

Step 5

Strain the ground mixture into another bowl. Add 10-12 ice cubes, 4-5 tbsps syrup and lemon juice and mix well.

Step 6

Roughly chop remaining peach and kiwi.

Step 7

Add remaining pineapple juice and orange juice and mix well. Add peach and some of the kiwi and mix well. Add dark rum and mix well.

Step 8

Put orange segments and remaining chopped kiwi in individual glasses. Pour the prepared juice in each glass, garnish with kiwi slice and mint leaves and serve chilled.
