By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Sep 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Gram flour, Oil Cuisine Gujarati Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Ganthia - SK Khazana 1 1/.2 cups Gram flour 2 1/2 tabl to deep fry Oil 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder to serve Hot tea Method Heat 2½ tbsps oil in a non-stick pan on low heat. Take gram flour in a bowl and add the hot oil, turmeric powder, carom seeds, salt and red chilli powder. Add little water and mix well. Add 1 tsp oil and combine well to make a semi soft dough. Grease oil in a chakli press fitted with sev attachment. Grease palms with oil. Shape mixture into thick long cylinder and place inside the chakli press. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, press out the mixture directly into hot oil and deep-fry till golden. Drain on absorbent paper. Set aside to cool down.
