Ingredients list for Garlic Grilled Paneer

  • 200 grams Cottage cheese cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Mustard paste
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • to taste Black peppercorns crushed
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh cream
  • 1 Medium green capsicum cut into cubes
  • 1 Medium onion cut into cubes
  • 1 Medium red capsicum cut into cubes
  • 1 Medium yellow capsicum cut into cubes
  • for basting Oil

Method

  1. Mix together garlic paste, mustard paste, chilli powder, crushed peppercorns, salt, coriander leaves and cream in a bowl. Add cottage cheese cubes and coat well.
  2. Skewer cottage cheese cubes with coloured capsicums and onion onto satay sticks in this order: green capsicum, cottage cheese, onion, cottage cheese, red capsicum, cottage cheese and yellow capsicum.
  3. Heat a sandwich griller and brush some oil on it. Place the sticks on it, cover and grill till cottage cheese is cooked and evenly done from all sides.
  4. Serve hot with salad.
