Ingredients for Gluten Free Chickpea Bread Recipe

  • Chickpea flour (besan) 1 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Olive oil 1/4 cup + for drizzling

  • Fresh rosemary to garnish

  • Pesto to serve


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180˚C.

Step 2

Take chickpea flour in a mixing bowl, add salt, ⅛ cup olive oil and 1 cup water and whisk well.

Step 3

Take a non-stick skillet, drizzle the remaining oil in it and spread evenly. Place it in the oven for 5-10 minutes to heat.

Step 4

Take the skillet out of the oven and strain the mixture into it. Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Step 5

Take it out of the oven and cut into wedges. Place the wedges on a serving plate, drizzle some olive oil on top, garnish with rosemary and serve hot with pesto.
