Ingredients list for Gongura Pachadi
- 1 bunch Gongura leaves stemmed
 - 2 tablespoons Oil
 - 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
 - 4-5 Whole dry red chilli stemmed
 - a pinch Asafoetida
 - 1 tablespoon Split Bengal gram (chana dal) soaked
 - to taste Salt
 
Method
- Heat one tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, dry red chillies, hing and chana dal and saute for a minute.
 - Remove and allow to cool.Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan. Add the leaves and saute till it dries up. Add salt and cook for a minute.
 - Remove and allow to cool.Transfer it to a blender and blend with the above mixture to a fine powder. Serve.
